The “Optimization Tower” sculpture seeks to tie together the residential to the north and the commercial to the south. Conceptually the tower begins as a solid which has been optimized to reflect the metaphorical forces of the commercial and residential areas that are pressing upon it. The multi-sided structure which hovers over the waterscape incorporates at once the axial and the linear circulation to enhance the plaza. The sculpture also integrates the existing waterscape through actively reflecting the water into the surfaces of the modules which compose the structure to become a vibrant living visual element. At night the structure is lit to further enhance the plaza and amplifies the kinetic effect of the water within the three-dimensional surfaces.

The “Harmonic Strings” sculpture seeks to tie together the residential to the north and the commercial to the south. Conceptually the strings are a holistic composition which embraces both the residential and commercial areas. The multi-sided structure which hovers over the waterscape incorporates at once the axial and the linear circulation to enhance the plaza. As the strings are actually two-dimensional reflective panels, the sculpture also integrates the existing waterscape through actively reflecting the water into the surfaces of the strings to become a vibrant living visual element. At night the structure is lit with strips of LED lighting that extend along the line of each “string” to further enhance the plaza and amplify the kinetic effect of the water within the surfaces. The string lighting has an interactive component as well. Markings of the unrolled sculpture are on the ground and as users walk on the markings, they light up individual light strips allowing the public to play the lights as a community instrument.

The “Iridescent Wings” sculpture seeks to tie together the residential to the north and the commercial to the south. Conceptually the wings are a vertical composition which embraces both the residential and commercial areas. The double-sided structure which hovers over the waterscape incorporates at once the axial and the linear circulation to enhance the plaza. The sculpture also integrates the existing waterscape through actively reflecting the water into the surfaces of the golden wings to become a vibrant living visual element. At night the structure is lit to further enhance the plaza and amplifies the kinetic effect of the water within the vertical surfaces.
