Teams of quadrotors autonomously build tower-like cubic structures from laid out modular parts. The project is by Quentin Lindsey, Daniel Mellinger, and Vijay Kumar at the GRASP Lab, University of Pennsylvania. Similar ideas are being researched on a much smaller scale.
