Ellsworth Residence is a new three story single family residence in Silverlake, California. The house sits on a very narrow east-west site and rises three stories to a rooftop deck with expansive views of downtown Los Angeles.
The single open vertical stair rises up the southwest side and is screened with perforated metal mesh to provide ample light yet still retain privacy from the neighbors. The bedrooms are on the ground floor with living spaces on the second floor to have a connection to the rooftop lounge areas.
